Outside Sales Representative – Omaha, Nebraska

LOCATION: Omaha, Nebraska

PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION: The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration by effectively selling CAES services. This position will personally contact and secure new business accounts and customers. The ideal candidate will be an active, energetic, organized professional who presents well and excel at breaking the ice with new people in-person every day.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business.
  • Makes telephone calls, sends emails, conducts in-person visits, and delivers presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Researches sources for developing prospective customers.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Coordinates sales effort with operation team and accounting.
  • Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
  • Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services.
  • Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum education Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Proven sales experience, Industrial Background preferred.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota.
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.
  • General understanding of HVAC mechanical systems and processes.
  • Computer use competence.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven
