Dry Ice Blasting
Dry Ice Blasting Overview
Dry ice blasting is an efficient way to clean hard-to-reach places or machines that cannot be moved to be cleaned. It is also a great way to clean surfaces that are delicate and can’t handle traditional cleaners. Dry ice blasting is a green way to clean that leaves no residue or waste behind aside from what is knocked off the surface being cleaned. Dry ice blasting is a complete cleaning method that leaves surfaces sanitized and ready for use once clean. It also prevents mold and bacterial growth on the surfaces it is applied. Dry ice blasting is non-toxic and can even extend the life of your equipment. There are many applications for dry ice blasting such as cleaning production lines for material or food, stationary equipment, items with delicate surfaces, electrical equipment, brick restoration, graffiti removal, and historical restoration.
What The Dry Ice Blasting Process Looks Like
Before we begin we will cut the power to the item we are cleaning as a precaution. We will then use the predetermined pellet size to begin cleaning the intended surface working in sections to ensure that each portion is cleaned completely before moving on to the next. Our machine is up for the biggest challenges as the pellets can be adjusted throughout the cleaning process to ensure the most efficient and effective cleaning for the entire surface to be cleaned.
When Dry Ice Blasting is Needed
Dry ice blasting is needed when a surface requires a cleaning method that doesn’t use chemicals, wipes, water, or sand. It is also needed for large machinery that needs to be cleaned carefully without being moved. It is also safe to use in combustible dust situations as it is not conductive. Finally, it is great for companies that are working to maintain an environmentally responsible cleaning process.
